The NEH also awarded $471,905 in ARP resources to the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh for the "ongoing enhancement" of an existing show on Ancient Egypt, and the Science Background Institute in Philadelphia was awarded $359,097 by the NEH to develop a "multiplatform task exploring the historic roots and persistent legacies of racism in American science and medicine."

Just ahead of signing the ARP in March 2021, Biden described each and every allocation of resources in the laws as vital. 

"We will need Congress to move my American Rescue System that bargains with the fast disaster — the urgency," the president explained at the time.
