Mom of lady executed though pushing stroller on NYC Higher East Facet speaks out

Initial ON FOX: The mom of a 20-12 months-outdated woman shot in the again of the head on the Upper East Facet Wednesday night even though pushing her 3-month-previous in a stroller reported the suspect is the kid's father.

"The town was supposed to be defending her," claimed Azsia Johnson's mother, Lisa Desort. "This is a domestic violence scenario from January. We named the precinct."

Johnson, a mother of two, was shot in the head from behind and at close selection at about 830 p.m. Wednesday night time though pushing a stroller on E. 95th St. and Lexingtion Ave. The suspect fled.

"All that anyone needs to know in this city is we named many moments for her safety," reported Desort, who broke down in sobs as she spoke to G3 Box News Electronic. "No one particular safeguarded my daughter, and now she's dead."

The suspected shooter is the father of the 3-thirty day period-outdated kid, Desort stated.  "He threatened me with dying, my daughter with demise, and my other daughter with loss of life," Desort said. "We termed the precinct various moments."

Johnson also shares a 2-12 months-old baby with one more guy.

Desort claimed Johnson had all the things heading for her. "She experienced been functioning since she was 16, and she took treatment of men and women. She was the finest mother," the grieving mom stated. "My daughter did not have earned this."
