Phillies' Bryce Harper suffers broken thumb right after receiving strike by pitch

Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper broke his still left thumb Saturday evening versus the San Diego Padres trying to prevent an up-and-in pitch from Blake Snell.

Harper failed in his endeavor to sidestep the pitch.
