A young boy in Indiana died Sunday night after he was injured in a fireworks accident, authorities said. The child, identified as Camrynn Ray McMichael, was playing with fireworks around 9:42 p.m., when he became seriously injured, Indiana State Police said Monday. He was was "gone ... in the blink of an eye," McMichael's mother said. An autopsy is slated for Tuesday, and there is an investigation into the situation, according to a report. McMichael was described by his family as a protective older brother and hard-working student who loved to play sports, the report noted. G3 Box News Last year, at least nine people died from fireworks in the United States, and roughly 11,500 people received medical attention pertaining to firework-related injuries, the report noted.
