Brooklyn man hailed as hero for preserving 5-12 months-previous boy who just about drowned in pool

A Brooklyn male saved a 5-year-previous boy from drowning in a general public pool following onlookers and even the pool lifeguards did practically nothing on Saturday.
Anthony Torres, 37, was at a general public pool in Brooklyn on Saturday when a commotion started following men and women seen a compact boy motionless at the bottom of the pool, in accordance to the Daily Mail.
Torres, a former lifeguard, saw that no one was having action and promptly dove in to retrieve the boy.
"I was swimming with my sister in the pool and I saw the little boy slumped more than in the water and I yelled for anyone to come over," Torres explained to reporters.

"I began yelling for somebody to occur and do their task," Torres instructed the Mail, "They just had been staring at me from the chair, most people was just staring at me."
Only when Torres had gotten the boy out of the pool did lifeguards arrive and carry out CPR, reviving him right after approximately 3 minutes, the outlet reported.

Law enforcement shortly responded, and the boy was taken to the medical center, in which he is expected to get better.
