California firefighters make development on Yosemite wildfire threatening sequoias

Firefighters in California have reportedly manufactured development on the Washburn Fireplace, which is threatening large sequoias and a tiny group in Yosemite Nationwide Park. 

The wildfire has spread around 2,340 acres and is 25% contained.

There are 545 staff assigned to the fire.

The flames have posed a hazard to the additional than 500 mature sequoias in the park's Mariposa Grove.
