A California hiker who fell 70 toes in Tahoe Countrywide Forest last week was saved by his doggy in "real Lassie fashion" just after the pup led rescuers to its injured operator, officials explained.
The 53-calendar year-aged gentleman identified as 911 with his cellphone, complaining that he broke his hip and some ribs, Nevada County Sheriff's Lookup and Rescue said.
