Washington Commanders Dan Snyder has started testifying ahead of a congressional committee investigating the NFL team’s record of office misconduct.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Home Committee on Oversight and Reform confirmed Snyder began providing his deposition Thursday morning nearly and in private. The listening to is not community.
The spokesperson stated in a statement on behalf of the committee: "Snyder has committed to providing full and comprehensive testimony, and to respond to the Committee’s inquiries about his awareness of and contributions to the Commanders’ poisonous function natural environment, as very well as his efforts to interfere with the NFL’s interior investigation, without the need of hiding behind non-disclosure or other confidentiality agreements."

Snyder is testifying a month just after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell appeared prior to the committee by using Zoom to focus on Washington's place of work society and the league's investigation into it. Snyder was invited to testify at the same hearing and, through a lawyer, declined.
