Crowds of New York City JFK airport tourists 'relocated' amid 'unattended bag' investigation

Crowds of Fourth of July weekend getaway vacationers ended up stranded outside of New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport Sunday amid an investigation into an unattended bag, G3 Box News Electronic has acquired. 

A spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey explained to G3 Box News Electronic by cellphone that there was no evacuation order, but folks experienced been "relocated" from departures to arrivals at Terminal 4 amid an investigation into an "unattended bag." 

The formal Twitter page for Kennedy Airport afterwards declared at 12:21 p.m. that an "earlier protection incident has been cleared." 

"Arrivals and departure stage roadways at Terminal 4 have reopened," the tweet claimed. "You should be expecting residual website traffic delays and make it possible for additional vacation time."

The Port Authority spokesman said that the bomb squad arrived in and cleared the bag, which was located not to have any explosives and was moved from the terminal. 

The terminal has been reopened to regular operations and the streets have been reopened. Roughly 200 persons had been relocated, but the whole terminal was not evacuated, the spokesman included. 

He did not have info about no matter whether any flights ended up disrupted. The incident lasted about an hour. 

Movies on line showed significant crowds of men and women with their suitcases and other bags outdoors the terminal.
