DHS Secretary Mayorkas appears to location blame on migrants right after 53 people identified dead in Texas truck

Division of Homeland Protection Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared to put some of the blame on migrants for producing the "risky journey" to the United States soon after at the very least 53 migrants were being located useless in an deserted tractor-trailer on the outskirts of San Antonio on Monday.

All through Mayorkas' look on CBS' "Confront the Country" on Sunday Morning, he mentioned that the incident is a person consequence of what could occur when migrants acquire the "hazardous journey" to the United States.

"We observed so tragically in San Antonio, Texas, a person of the achievable tragic final results of that hazardous journey and so numerous folks do not even make it that much in the palms of exploitative smugglers," Mayorkas explained.

He also claimed that the Section of Homeland Security has continuously warned individuals to not consider the "hazardous journey."

"We have said continuously and we continue on to warn folks not to acquire the perilous journey," Mayorkas added.

Mayorkas also claimed that in these scenarios, migrants acquire "phony details from smugglers" that places their life in danger.

"And so, these migrants receive phony data from smugglers. They set their lives, their daily life savings, in the palms of these exploitative companies, these legal companies that do not care for their life and only find to make a income," Mayorkas said.

The reviews on Sunday appear just after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott lashed out at President Biden, expressing that "individuals fatalities" are on him.

Abbott reported in a June 27 tweet that "These deaths are on Biden."

"At Least 42 People today Identified Dead Inside of Truck Carrying Migrants In Texas. These deaths are on Biden. They are a final result of his fatal open border guidelines. They present the fatal consequences of his refusal to enforce the law," Abbott reported.

As of Tuesday, many survivors were described as becoming in important issue with accidents ranging from mind injury to internal bleeding, according to the Mexican consul typical in San Antonio.

In all, four men and women have been charged in relationship with the fatal incident. Two men and women, Juan Francisco D’Luna-Bilbao and Juan Claudio D’Luna-Mendez, have been the two charged as unlawful immigrants in possession of firearms. At the very least one of these charged is an American citizen.
