Household in North Carolina established ablaze by lightning strike: experiences

A North Carolina home was reportedly established on hearth by a lightning strike.

Twitter online video captured by the Winston-Salem Hearth Section on Tuesday confirmed substantial flames and smoke billowing upwards as firefighters worked to put out the blaze. 

The dwelling was located in the 1300 block of Pheasant Lane.

FOX 8 noted that it was unfamiliar if any person was inside of the house at the time of the strike.

WXII claimed there were being no described accidents. 

Thunderstorms were predicted to continue on on Wednesday.

In addition, a North Carolina guy was struck by lightning on Sunday afternoon around Masonboro Island. His ailment could not be immediately identified.

WFLA reported that the truck was "completely fried" by the strike.

"You could experience a slight buzz in the car or truck when it hit us, and then my oldest daughter was sitting down upcoming to me and she jumped midway in my lap and screamed," Edward Whalen, who was driving the truck, explained to the station. 

The Countrywide Temperature Services (NWS) experienced issued a flash flood warning in Tampa on July 1.
