Justin Thomas throws shade at LIV Golfing competitors in excess of Ryder Cup remarks

Justin Thomas appeared to shade LIV Golf competitors Talor Gooch and Patrick Reed on Monday with remarks about the JP McManus Professional-Am experience close to a Ryder Cup.

The JP McManus Pro-Am is having place in advance of The Open up Championship, the last golf big of the year, which will happen later this month. It is also being held at Adare Manor in Ireland, which will also be the location for the 2027 Ryder Cup.

"I’m just blown away by what currently is and what this weekend and 7 days has been. It’s going to be impeccable. The golf training course is wonderful, it seems like it’s great for spectators," Thomas claimed, through The Golf Channel. "I necessarily mean, it feels pretty near to a Ryder Cup now."

Although on the floor Thomas’ remarks could seem to be fairly benign, it appeared he was poking fun at Gooch, who produced comparable reviews about LIV Golf’s to start with U.S. match at Pumpkin Experience around the weekend.

Gooch compared the environment at the LIV Golfing party to a Ryder Cup and a Presidents Cup, however he’s appeared in neither match.
