At least nine people, including a teenager, were injured in what is believed to have been a drive-by shooting in Newark, New Jersey, on Thursday evening, police said. All of the victims are in stable condition and were transported to two nearby hospitals to receive treatment for gunshot wounds, Newark's public safety director, Raul Malave, said in a statement obtained by the Washington Examiner. The other four were transported via emergency medical services to University Hospital, per police. Police identified a white Honda Pilot as a vehicle of interest in the case, the outlet reported. The car is believed to have been stolen from Jersey City.
