Padres' Jurickson Profar collapses on field adhering to unsafe collision with teammate

San Diego Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar was taken to the medical center Thursday evening immediately after abruptly collapsing on the field next a terrifying collision with teammate C.J. Abrams.

Profar, 29, was transported to UC San Diego Health for further more evaluation following he collapsed on the industry while walking back to the dugout following a unsafe collision with Abrams all through the fifth inning of Thursday’s match from the San Francisco Giants. 

The two players were being running to capture Tommy La Stella’s fly ball to left industry when Abram’s knee designed make contact with with Profar’s jaw when diving for the catch.

Abram ultimately got up whilst Profar was down for many minutes ahead of inevitably sitting down up.

"No tingle or anything in the arms, but what we are fearful the most is possibly a concussion at this point," supervisor Bob Melvin said, including that Profar in no way shed consciousness. "But they are examining every thing out."
