Pence, Trump headline independent rallies for competing Republican governor candidates Robson, Lake

Former Vice President Mike Pence held a rally in Peoria, Arizona on Friday afternoon in help of Republican governor candidate Karrin Taylor Robson when previous President Donald Trump held a rally in close by Prescott Valley for her major competitor candidate Kari Lake.

Pence told the team that if Robson is elected, it could "mail a deafening information listened to all across The united states that the Republican Celebration is the celebration of the long term."

"You require a governor that supported every single conservative cause from Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump. You require Karrin Taylor Robson in the statehouse," Pence stated.

Pence criticized Robson’s main opponent as a Democratic Bash "transform," who previously supported Democrats like former President Barack Obama and two times-unsuccessful presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

"Glance, I’m generally content to welcome converts to the Republican Occasion," Pence said, referring to Lake. "But Arizona Republicans really do not require a governor that supported Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton."

At a news meeting after the rally, Pence reiterated his help for Robson at a border protection briefing in Tucson.

"No 1 labored tougher for the Trump-Pence ticket in 2016 or in 2020 than Karrin Taylor Robson," Pence mentioned, Reuters noted. "She volunteered, she aided raise tens of millions of bucks for our marketing campaign. When we essential Karrin, Karrin was usually there. On Friday evening, Trump held a rally for Lake, who he claimed would secure the U.S.-Mexico border and endorse a Make American Wonderful Again agenda.

Lake mentioned a number of opinions of her very own at the rally, in which she urged Trump to operate himself in 2024.
