Somali new music competition boos Ilhan Omar in Minnesota: 'Get the f--- out of here'

A viral video shows Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., arriving to a chorus of jeers and booing at a mostly Somali group in her households point out in excess of the July 4th weekend. 

Omar, 39, produced an appearance at the concert featuring Somali singer Soldaan Seraar at the Focus on Heart in Minneapolis on Saturday night time, but not everybody was content to see her. 

Omar shared a 14-2nd clip of her and husband Tim Mynett walking out on phase, but extended movies – which circulated close to social media – involve folks chanting "get out!" and telling the Democrat to "get the f--- out of below."

The video clips do not present what prompted these types of a sturdy reaction, but Newsweek reported that some have blamed Omar’s guidance for abortion and LGBTQ rights for the backlash.

Omar was just one of the reps to surface at pro-selection rallies in Washington, D.C. following the Supreme Court’s conclusion to overturn Roe v. Wade on June 24.

"In pretty much half of this place, states are ready to ban abortion," Omar stated at a protest at Union Station. "Outright ban abortion. That indicates if you are sick, if you are raped, there is incest, you are compelled to have that baby or die,"

Omar has also remained a strong supporter of more intense legislative measures to secure abortion legal rights, such as ending the filibuster so that Congress can attempt to codify abortion rights into federal law or increasing the Supreme Court docket to pack it with far more liberal judges.
