South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh charged with murder of wife and son

South Carolina Legal professional Basic Alan Wilson on Thursday introduced new murder rates versus disgraced South Carolina law firm Alex Murdaugh.

A Colleton County Grand Jury indicted Murdaugh for two counts of murder and two counts of possession of a weapon for the duration of the commission of a violent crime in link to the June 7, 2021, deaths of Murdaugh's wife, Maggie, 52, and their son Paul, 22.

"All the endeavours of our business and the legislation enforcement businesses associated in this investigation have been focused on seeking justice for the victims’ households," Wilson stated in a Thursday assertion. "We want to thank the Point out Regulation Enforcement Division, the attorneys and team in our office, and everyone who worked on this situation for their tireless initiatives to collect proof and abide by in which it led. We also want to thank the Colleton County Grand Jury for listening to that evidence and for their provider to the people of the point out."

Murdaugh faces a lot more than 80 prison fees linked to money crimes and, now, murder.
