A robbery suspect is lifeless right after a Missouri Metropolis, Texas, police officer was shot in the encounter and a foot adhering to a car or truck chase early Saturday, authorities claimed.
The Missouri City officer was discovered as 29-year-outdated Crystal Sepulveda, a three-year veteran of the drive. Sepulveda was rushed to Memorial Hermann-Texas Clinical Center and is expected to make a whole recovery, reported Lance Bothel, Missouri Metropolis assistant law enforcement main.

The pursuit started right after 2 a.m. when officers spotted a stolen vehicle joined to an aggravated theft phone at a gasoline station, police claimed. The driver of the stolen automobile allegedly refused to pull around and led officers on a chase before stopping his car in front of a household.

The suspect ran from the vehicle into the yard of the house and fired at officers, according to authorities. Police explained he struck Sepulveda in the head and a foot.
Even though Sepulveda was being rushed to the medical center, officers established up a perimeter and positioned the suspect. He shot at the officers, who returned fireplace, striking the suspect.
The suspect was pronounced dead at a healthcare facility. Law enforcement did not immediately launch the suspect's identification.

Law enforcement mentioned the suspect had two computerized handguns in his possession when he was shot.
