Wisconsin Democratic prospect Tom Nelson quits race

Tom Nelson, a prospect who attempted to placement himself as the most progressive in Wisconsin's Democratic principal race for U.S. Senate, introduced Monday he dropped out of the contest to encounter Republican incumbent Ron Johnson in November.

Nelson, the Outagamie County executive, threw his guidance to Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is in a tight race with Milwaukee Bucks govt Alex Lasry. State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski is polling more driving. Nelson was in fourth place.

"Mandela can now depend on me to be on his side each phase of the way," Nelson said in a statement. "I urge other Democratic major voters to also guidance him now as perfectly."
