Giants announce demise of former All-Star pitcher Tim Lincecum's spouse

According to the San Mateo Everyday Journal, Coleman passed absent at her home, surrounded by family members June 27 immediately after a fight with cancer. She was a longtime educator and principal at the Washington Elementary University in Burlingame, California.

Shana Daum, senior vice president of communications and community relations for the Giants, instructed the San Francisco Chronicle that the crew discovered of Coleman’s passing – and recent marriage to Lincecum – on Thursday. 

"Tim is really private, and we honor and respect his privateness," Daum explained to the outlet. "Our hearts are large in finding out this news."

A 4-time All-Star, 3-time World Series champ, and two-time Cy Young winner, Lincecum was drafted 10th in general by the Giants in 2006. He signed with the Los Angeles Angels in 2016 on a just one-yr agreement.
