New York man dies right after staying shot although answering his entrance doorway

A male in Extended Island, New York, died around the weekend after becoming shot "when answering a knock at his entrance door," law enforcement say. 

The homicide of Roquez Villalba-Jimenez, 32, is the next of its type this thirty day period in Huntington Station, in accordance to the Suffolk County Police Division.  

Investigators say Villalba-Jimenez answered a knock on his door all over 11:35 p.m. Saturday evening when he was hit with gunfire. 

He afterwards was pronounced lifeless at a nearby healthcare facility.

On Aug. 2, fewer than a mile absent, Byron Martinez was shot following answering a knock on his doorway all-around 1:15 a.m., the Suffolk County Police Office claimed. 

The 23-year-outdated was pronounced lifeless at the scene.

It is not immediately crystal clear regardless of whether the two incidents are related. 

Detectives from the Suffolk County Police Murder Squad are investigating both of those situations.
