Texas barbecue restaurant manager states thief stole almost $3k really worth of brisket

The common manager of a barbecue cafe in Texas states that a thief stole practically $3,000 worth of brisket on the early morning of Aug. 4.

Alison Clem, the general manager of la Barbecue in Austin, Texas, said that 20 briskets have been stolen by someone who jumped a fence at around 4 a.m. and ran toward the smoker, according to FOX 7.

Clem said that she thinks the thief had been preparing the theft.

"We're variety of speculating that he's been viewing. You know, any individual that made use of to prepare dinner for us potentially. We haven't had turnover in our house considering that we have been here, so it would not be latest. So which is also variety of peculiar that he knew." Clem claimed.

She claimed that the incident was caught on camera and went on for about 15 minutes.

The value of the meat, according to Clem, is $3,000 when seasoning and labor is factored in, she explained.
