Texas off-obligation deputy constable killed in shooting just after picking up meal for his family members: authorities

An off-obligation deputy constable in Texas was shot and killed as he drove household from picking up dinner for his family members on Sunday night, authorities reported.

Omar Ursin, a deputy constable with the Harris County Precinct 3 Constable’s Business office, was determined as the guy killed in the taking pictures, the constable’s workplace claimed.

"It is with hefty hearts and utter disbelief that we share the tragic news of the senseless murder of one particular of our own, Deputy Omar Ursin," the constable’s business office reported.

Ursin was driving his family’s vehicle around 6:30 p.m. in the 11900 block of Madera Operate Parkway in Atascocita when the shooting transpired, Harris County law enforcement officials reported.

Investigators consider the original photographs were being fired as Ursin and the suspect auto drove previous a center faculty in Timber. Ursin then crashed into a tree in the median of the roadway, FOX26 Houston noted. 

Ursin was shot at the very least after and pronounced dead at a healthcare facility, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez claimed.

No arrests have been created. 

Homicide detectives are investigating.

Gonzalez mentioned that a car or truck fleeing the scene of the taking pictures was described as a dark-colored, newer model sedan with tinted windows. The motor vehicle sped absent eastbound on Madera Operate Parkway before heading north on Olympic Nationwide Travel.

Officials named on residents who reside in the area to examine their house surveillance cameras for footage of the incident or the fleeing suspect car.
