Police in Galveston, Texas, say a drunk driver crashed into a golfing cart with 6 people within.

The Galveston Police Division said the crash took place at about 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the intersection of 33rd St. and Avenue R, in accordance to FOX 26.

Law enforcement reported that when officers arrived at the scene, they observed two wrecked cars and trucks and a golf cart.

According to the report, the driver of a black Hyundai SUV, Miguel Espinoza, 45, allegedly crashed into a golfing cart and a black Dodge pickup truck.

The driver of the golfing cart was pronounced dead by officials on the scene, and the other 5 travellers ended up taken to a area clinic.
