Trump phone calls Washington Post 'Fake News' adhering to report declaring he's 'scrambling' for attorneys right after FBI raid

Previous President Donald Trump has responded to a Washington Post report that claimed he was urgently hunting to bolster his authorized workforce next an FBI raid on his personal Florida residence Mar-a-Lago.

In a article on Truth Social, Trump named the report "phony news" and continued to declare he was innocent of any wrongdoing.

"The WAPO story that ‘Trump is scrambling to insert seasoned lawyers’ to the Mar-a-Lago Raid situation is, as standard, Phony NEWS," he wrote. "I already have great and seasoned lawyers - am extremely delighted with them."

The Washington Publish published a report on Tuesday — titled "Trump is speeding to hire seasoned attorneys — but he keeps listening to ‘No’" — in which the outlet claimed Trump's recent legal workforce does not have anybody with federal circumstance working experience.

"The battle to obtain pro legal advice places Trump in a bind as he faces probable prison publicity from a documents dispute with the National Archives that escalated into a federal investigation into feasible violations of the Espionage Act and other statutes," the outlet claimed.

"All people is expressing no," the report added, citing "a prominent Republican law firm, who like some others spoke on the affliction of anonymity to explore private discussions."

The Jeff Bezos-owned paper went on to say: "Once again, Trump is struggling to come across a veteran felony defense attorney with a sturdy monitor history of working with the Justice Section in a sprawling, multipronged investigation."

Trump has been frequently important of the FBI’s raid.
