Two educate cars and trucks derail in Texas leaving at minimum 1 man or woman lifeless

Two prepare autos in El Paso, Texas, derailed Monday evening, killing at minimum 1 man or woman and harmful a gas line, fireplace officers said.

The derailment occurred around Barton Street and households in the region had been initially evacuated as a safety precaution, El Paso Fire Department spokesperson Enrique Dueñas-Aguilar explained to G3 Box News Digital. 

About 50 persons ended up authorized back in their houses an hour later on, Dueñas-Aguilar said.

The spokesperson reported one particular fatality was confirmed as a consequence of the derailment. It stays unclear where this individual was when they were being killed. No other accidents ended up reported.

The harmed gas line was shut down. Texas Fuel was doing work to repair the line.

"The incident was claimed at all over 9:18 p.m. MT. The educate autos that derailed were being carrying wheat grain, they were not passenger automobiles," Dueñas-Aguilar said.

Officers are inquiring that folks stay away from the location.

The El Paso Police Office and Union Pacific are investigating the incident.
