US Navy sailor from North Carolina dead right after falling overboard in Baltic Sea

The U.S. Navy has introduced the identify of the sailor who died tragically in the Baltic Sea Monday. 

Seaman Recruit David Spearman of North Carolina was killed after getting lost overboard from the USS Arleigh Burke, according to a statement released by Navy officers.

"This vibrant, young person built an oversized beneficial effect on Arleigh Burke. My complete crew’s thoughts and prayers are with Seaman Recruit Spearman’s spouse and children and buddies," stated Cmdr. Pete Flynn, the commanding officer of the USS Arleigh Burke.

"We offer you our most sincere condolences for their reduction. Thank you to the Swedish and German navies, the U.S. Air Force and the sailors from Arleigh Burke for their intensive efforts to look for for our shipmate."

Spearman, 19, done his fundamental instruction in January 2022.

He was stationed on the guided-missile destroyer close to Helsinki, Finland when he was misplaced overboard.

Navy officers attempted to find and rescue Spearman, but lookup and rescue functions ceased Aug. 2.

In accordance to his family, Spearman is just one of a long line of Navy gentlemen in his loved ones.
