Vice President Kamala Harris is set to announce $1 billion in disaster aid funding for states going through extreme warmth or flooding on Monday.

Harris' announcement will come as portion of a White House package trying to find to shore up states readiness for intense temperature that the Biden administration characteristics to climate modify.
