West Virginia law enforcement warn of 'Rainbow Fentanyl,' multi-coloured variations of the deadly-drug resembling candy

West Virginia law enforcement officers are sounding the alarm right after the discovery of "Rainbow Fentanyl" – multi-colored versions of the deadly drug that resembled sweet – in a city that is house to the state’s college and hundreds of university college students.

Officers from West Virginia’s Mon Metro Drug & Violent Crimes Activity Force executed a lookup warrant in Morgantown, West Virginia, and discovered a "huge batch" of the capsules, which ended up "multi-colored and stamped with M/30 like a traditional oxycodone capsule," the Northern District of West Virginia announced in a Wednesday push launch. 

Morgantown is dwelling to West Virginia University’s main campus and its more than 25,000 pupils. 

United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld said investigators suspected the pills originated in Mexico and were transported into California before building their way to West Virginia.

West Virginia regulation enforcement officials are sounding the alarm immediately after the discovery of "Rainbow Fentanyl" in Morgantown (Northern District of West Virginia)

"Adolescent drug overdose deaths have doubled around the past decade owing to the emergence of illicit fentanyl and the manner in which it is becoming promoted," Ihlenfeld stated in a ready statement. "This another illustration of drug cartels staying resourceful in how they produce and promote their product or service."
