Broncos, Russell Wilson concur to five-yr, $245 million deal extension: report

Wilson, 33, signed a five-calendar year, $245 million deal extension that will see the 9-time Professional Bowler get paid $165 million in guarantees, the NFL Community noted, citing sources.

Wilson experienced two many years remaining on his contract that would have paid him $24 million this period, but the terms of the trade indicated that the Broncos were being prepared to give a lot more to retain the veteran quarterback all around. He additional that he hopes to play 10 to 12 extra seasons and finish his occupation in Denver after a 10 years in Seattle. 

"Their most effective years are 30 to 40 moreover range," Wilson claimed at the time. "You see Tom [Brady] coming back again, Drew [Brees] as extended as he performed, you know. So, to me, I ain't even received began nevertheless."
