Catastrophic flooding in Ga submerges autos soon after heavy rainfall

Significant rainfall in northwest Georgia turned roadways into rivers and submerged cars and trucks early Sunday.

Sections of Chattooga and Floyd counties had been underneath flash flood emergencies and flash flood warnings as rain inundated the spot, the Nationwide Climate Assistance (NWS) stated.
