Heritage Foundation president blasts Biden soul of a country speech: 'Division and dishonesty'

The president of the conservative assume tank Heritage Foundation blasted President Joe Biden’s the latest address on the "soul of a country" as the continuation of a "pattern of division and dishonesty."

"For nearly 50 many years, Biden has shown that his phrases, when they are even his to commence with, are very little but empty Swamp doublespeak," Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts stated in reaction to Biden’s speech in which the president accused supporters of former President Donald Trump of waging an "assault on American democracy."

"It’s ironic that the guy who promises he would like to ‘unite’ the country has expended most of his political career, and certainly his presidency, making an attempt to divide it," Roberts extra.

"Tonight, he continued this sample of division and dishonesty, making an attempt to convert Us citizens towards every single other additional," Roberts ongoing. "Possibly it is time for all Americans to understand that our enemy is not our neighbor or our coworker, but the electricity-mad Washington elite who prosper off our division."

In his speech, Biden explained he ran for president because he thought "we had been in a struggle for the soul of this country" and he nevertheless believes that is correct currently.

According to Roberts, Biden was appropriate about that statement but with one particular crucial caveat.

"Joe Biden did get one particular thing appropriate tonight—we are in fact preventing a battle for the soul of our nation," Roberts stated. "The issue is, he’s preventing on the wrong aspect."

Roberts pointed out earlier comments from Biden he claims had been divisive like declaring the coronavirus pandemic as a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" even though also accusing Biden of telling divisive lies these as calling the United States’ chaotic and lethal withdrawal from Afghanistan an "extraordinary achievement."

"If anybody is a danger to the soul of this country, and what America signifies in the tale of human history, it’s Joe Biden and those people enabling him," Roberts mentioned. "That is why Heritage will stay on offense each solitary working day, preventing again against the radical, damaging procedures the Still left is hoping to ram down our throats. Biden's Thursday night was extensively criticized by conservatives who accused the president of demagoguery and divisiveness.

"Tonight, Joe Biden vilified tens of millions of People in a divisive & angry speech that was detached from the fact of his political failures," Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz tweeted.
