Hurricane Ian forces improvements to Florida-Japanese Washington, 2 other school football game titles

With Hurricane Ian envisioned to hit Florida late Wednesday or early Thursday, the storm is impacting the higher education soccer slate this weekend.

So far, three video games have adjusted times and/or areas.

The Florida Gators have been scheduled to host Japanese Washington at noon Saturday, but that activity has been pushed again 24 several hours. It will however be performed Sunday in Gainsville.

The University of South Florida and East Carolina were scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Raymond James Stadium, the house of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Saturday at 7 p.m. As an alternative, the recreation will be performed at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton.

The storm will shift north later on in the week, which is forcing the South Carolina Gamecocks to move up their video game versus South Carolina Condition.
