Jake Paul throws chilly h2o on MMA battle against Nick Diaz: 'The money’s in boxing'

Though Jake Paul appeared to have his sights established on Nate Diaz for his subsequent battle following Anderson Silva, he nixed any possibility of finding into the cage with Diaz’s brother Nick.

Nick Diaz experienced been mentioned as a possible opponent for Paul ahead of the YouTube star-turned-boxer booked his struggle with Silva for Oct. 29.

Diaz is the more mature brother of Nate and has fought in UFC as a middleweight. He lost in his most new bout versus Robbie Lawler and headlined UFC 183 towards Silva in January 2015.

But any likelihood of Paul moving into the Octagon to battle Diaz was swatted absent by Paul.

"I do not know guy. The money’s in boxing. But it could be interesting. I would alternatively go in the cage with Nate Diaz. But 1st we’ll box. I have not qualified a working day of MMA. It's possible a single day I did kicks in the health and fitness center. But I’m a boxer," Paul explained to G3 Box News Electronic on Monday.

In August, Paul said on the "TimboSugarShow" podcast that his brother Logan "can go choose out Nick."

Paul is 5- with four knockouts to his credit rating. He beat Askren and 2 times Woodley. He also defeated Ali Eson Gib, and Nate Robinson.
