Minnesota fentanyl tablet bust could be most significant seizure in Midwest, cops say

Authorities in Minnesota said officers seized what could be the premier fentanyl products bust in the Midwest when they confiscated 108,943 tablets from a suspected seller. 

Bloomington Law enforcement Main Booker Hodges reported the bust stemmed from an Aug. 31 simply call to look into a report of monetary fraud.

"Through some incredibly, really excellent law enforcement get the job done, they finished up having – this more than probable the major fentanyl pill seizure in the Midwest," he advised reporters. "This is more than enough fentanyl to eliminate a fifth of the full state's inhabitants."

He reported the doses ended up pressed M-30 tablets and meant to seem as oxycodone doses. All in all, police say the total body weight of the fentanyl is 24 kilos, G3 Box News Minneapolis reported.

The suspect, Marcus Trice, 36, has been federally billed with possession of the artificial opioid, Hodges claimed. He is not from Minnesota, he stated. 

Hodges reported he witnessed a gentleman die from overdosing on fentanyl before this 7 days. 

"This is killing a great deal of people today in Minnesota," he reported. 

Huge quantities of fentanyl have been viewed at the southern border and is increasingly being viewed by authorities throughout drug busts.
