A 28-yr-old neighborhood from the resort town of Ocean Town, Maryland, was wounded Monday morning in a capturing together the boardwalk, police say.
The gunfire erupted in the region of N. Division St and Atlantic Ave close to 2:30 a.m., in accordance to the Ocean City Police Section.
"The preliminary investigation suggests the shooting occurred after a transient altercation," police stated. "There is no menace to the general public at this time."
"This is an energetic and ongoing investigation," law enforcement added.

Investigators identified the sufferer as a 28-calendar year-old male from Ocean Metropolis.
