Chicago teen who allegedly hijacked SUV, crashed and killed lady had felony gun warrant: report

A Chicago teen who hijacked an SUV and crashed it, killing a 55-year-outdated woman even though fleeing police, was awaiting demo for a felony gun circumstance, according to area stories. 

The 17-year-outdated, who is accused of driving the SUV that crashed into the woman’s car or truck, was one of four folks arrested Thursday in relationship with the carjacking, FOX 32 documented. The teen’s title was not described.

The 17-12 months-previous and 3 other people allegedly carjacked various motor vehicles at gunpoint on the night of September 29. 

Law enforcement tracked down the 3rd carjacked vehicle, a black Honda, but the driver would not yield, prompting a pursuit. The Honda ongoing to evade police until it crashed into a Toyota in the 3100 block of South Kedzie Avenue in the Very little Village neighborhood. The driver of the Toyota, 55-12 months-previous Dominga Flores, was transported to Mount Sinai Medical center wherever she was pronounced useless.

All 4 suspects had been taken into custody, and two guns were recovered from the black Honda. CWB Chicago, citing prosecutor Anne McCord-Rodgers, described that the driver is 17 years previous and awaiting trial for a felony gun case in a different incident. He was billed with initially-degree murder and aggravated fleeting. 

The passenger of the stolen Honda, 22-yr-outdated Enrique Angeles, was charged with misdemeanor prison trespass to a car. CWB Chicago reported that Angeles was on parole for felony theft. 

The other two passengers, an unidentified 17-yr-aged, and a 15-12 months-aged, ended up both equally billed with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, amongst other fees.

The Chicago Law enforcement Division referred inquiries to the Illinois Point out Attorney’s Business, which was not readily available for remark.
