"We obtained off, when the storm was coming, but some of the bridesmaids attire, tuxedos, decorations, we remaining there, wondering we could get again on this morning," Lord instructed The G3 Box News on Saturday early morning, standing on the northern causeway that connects Pawleys to the mainland. "But they claimed no, we cannot, not but."

As crews assessed protection on the island, Lord and McCullough had been explained to to wait, with barricades shutting down access to the strip of properties.

"If any one is on the island who would like to convey us our points, we’d confident enjoy it," McCullough stated with a smile.
