Jill Biden targets GOP with story of serving to buddy following abortion when it was illegal: 'Devastating'

Initial girl Jill Biden informed a story on Friday recounting a situation when she assisted her pal in the aftermath of an abortion in Pennsylvania when the technique was unlawful in the late 1960s and accused Republicans of seeking to go "again to that time."

Biden, speaking at the Democratic Congressional Marketing campaign Committee Women's Lunch and Difficulties Meeting, explained to the story of how when she was 17 when 1 of her friends acquired expecting in the late 1960s. The two lived in Pennsylvania, wherever abortion was unlawful.

Her mom agreed, she claimed, and "she in no way instructed a soul, including, as significantly as I know, my dad."

She explained she and her mother "never ever spoke about it once again."

Biden mentioned that girls "will not allow this region go backwards" and permit "some radical Republican agenda be the legacy we depart to our daughters and granddaughters."
