Pelosi, Dem management say they stand with sexual assault survivors, but mum after Politico outs GOP candidate

Democratic House management would not say if they take situation with Politico's final decision to publish specifics of a Republican congressional nominee's sexual assault without having her authorization.

The Democrats' silence bordering Inexperienced operates in stark contrast to their prior statements about ladies who’ve seasoned sexual assault.

In a 2020 assertion, Hoyer declared that House Democrats would often stand with all ladies who were victims of sexual assault.

"Property Democrats are dedicated to addressing sexual harassment and violence against our provider members," he claimed in the assertion. "No company member or veteran – and no female – really should have to endure a tradition of sexual harassment and violence. House Democrats will go on to stand with all gals to finish this scourge after and for all."   

Clyburn, a supporter of the Violence Versus Ladies Act (VAWA), earlier explained he supported the bill because it "aided guard women in opposition to domestic violence, sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking," and after accused Republicans of "jeopardizing the safety of women of all ages" by not renewing it.

Environmentally friendly, who believes the use of her armed service documents is a "politically determined endeavor to impression the approaching election," vowed not to again down from the struggle.
