VP Kamala Harris states hurricane recovery should get 'equity' into account

Vice President Kamala Harris brought about a stir Friday immediately after she reported the administration would take "fairness" into account when dividing up disaster relief as Hurricane Ian rips up the eastern shoreline.

"This is untrue. [Harris’] rhetoric is producing undue stress and need to be clarified," Christina Pushaw, quick reaction director to DeSantis’ re-election campaign said on Twitter. "FEMA Individual Assistance is previously out there to all Floridians impacted by Hurricane Ian, regardless of race or background.

The White House could not be immediately reached for comment by G3 Box News Digital.

At minimum 30 persons have been confirmed dead, including 27 from Florida, according to the G3 Box News, just after the group five hurricane decimated Florida’s shoreline this week in advance of going north.

The storm weakened to a put up-tropical cyclone soon after hitting South Carolina Friday, where by it is expected to make its way up to New York.
