Texas Legal professional Typical Ken Paxton claimed Tuesday he is launching an investigation into Walmart's opioid gross sales to decide if the retail large improperly crammed prescriptions.
Paxton issued a civic investigative demand to Walmart for attainable violations of the Texas Misleading Trade Tactics Act, according to a news launch from his business.
The CID is linked to the advertising, sale, dispensing and distribution of prescription opioids.

The investigation will heart on Walmart's compliance with submitting files relevant to opioid orders relationship back again to January 2006 to the Drug Enforcement Administration and condition agencies.
In a statement to G3 Box News, Walmart claimed it has "in no way made, promoted or promoted opioids, and pharmacists aren’t medical professionals and never publish opioid prescriptions."
